Come Bet

If you've been reading my blog on craps you'll know what the pass line bet.  The reason why I say this is because the come bet is almost identical to the pass line bet. In order to make this bet the point has to be established on the come out roll.  Once the point is established on the come out roll you may then place a come bet.

In this picture the point has been established as nine.  We may now place our come bet.  The come bet will be placed in that big area where the word come is on.
To win this bet right away you need a 7 or an 11.  Too loose this bet right away you need a 2, 3, or a 12.  Once a box number is rolled it's the point that you need before a 7.  If that point is rolled then you win your come bet.  If the 7 is rolled before the established point then you loose your come bet.

On this picture I made a couple come bets.  The 2 established points that have been made are 5 and 8.  In order for me to win these come bets I need a 5 before rolling a 7 and an 8 before rolling a 7.  I also placed another come bet.  To win that come bet I need a 7 or 11 before the point is established.  I loose right away if the 2, 3, or 12 is made.  Once the point is established I need to roll that roll before rolling the seven.
Like the pass line bet the come bet is a contract bet so you need to roll the point in order to win the come bet.

To recap the come bet the come bet may be placed once the point is established on the come out roll.  The come bet wins on a 7 or an 11 and looses on a 2, 3, or 12.  Once the come point is made that point must be rolled before a seven in order to win or a seven before the point in order to loose.  The come bet is also a contract bet like the pass line bet so you cannot take the bet down once the point is established.
