Craps table layout

Below is a layout of a craps table.

This table is very basic.  In the middle of the craps table you have the stickman on one side and the box man on the other side.  The stickman usually calls the number and gives the dice to the shooter.  He is also in charge of the bets on the middle of the table.  The Boxman, who is on the other side of the stickman supervises the game and makes sure that no bets are mishandled.  On the side of the boxman you have the dealers.  The dealers are responsible for paying out winnings and taking down losses.

I'm not going to get into betting on this article, I'm just going to tell you about the table.
One the perimeter of the table you'll usually see a bunch of people surrounding the craps table.  Well on the side of the table is called the pass line.  Above the pass line is the don't pass line, Above the don't pass line is called a the field bet.  Above the field bet is called the Come bet.  At the top of the layout is call the point numbers, which are also called the box numbers.  On the upper corner is called the don't come box.

On the layout next to the come bet, field bet, don't pass line, and pass line is called the e/c bet or what most people call the c/e bet.  On the layout in front of the stickman are what I called the crazy craps layout.  I'll explain why it's crazy in another article.  Right infront of the stickman you have the any seven.  Above the any seven you have the horn bets, which are the 2, 3, 11, and the 12.  You also will see the 2, 3, 11, and the 12 in each box.  Above the horn numbers you'll have the hard way boxes.  You have the hard six, the hard eight, the hard four, and the hard ten.  On most tables above the hard boxes you'll have the hop boxes.  Above the hop boxes are usually other forms of bettings on a craps table.  Some games you'll see a fire bet, other games you'll see a sharp shooter bet, and on some games you'll see a craps bonus bet.  I'll get to those bets along with their payouts in another article.

In front of the boxman you have all of the chips on the craps table which are always organized.
